I raced out there this weekend. The track changes are awesome! Our lap times dropped about 7 seconds from the old configuration. Turns 8&9 are now a high speed, how big are your *****, pair of turns. Turns 1&2 are wider and much faster. Turns 3 and 10 are now hard braking areas because of the extra speed you're carrying in. I think these changes made the track significantly more fun. If you get the chance to go out there, do it.

They don't, either.

GM's racing division has rented the track for the 20th and 21st so their Runoffs drivers can test. They may have been considering the 19th, too.

It has to do with their instructors, or lack there of... We had 5 instructors last time with about 15 newbies out there.
