Yes, but the price apparently has gone up (again).

I would be stunned if you actually took the Lotus out for a few laps.

Mahjik,

Have you heard anything about when they plan to make the track changes? I assume they intend to do it prior to this year's Runoffs in October, but their schedule looks pretty full.

I only heard rumors of track changes. I never heard any of those rumors confirmed. I can ask them on Wednesday but I would assume Chuck, that you would probably know a lot more about it than me.

They are going to change turns 1,2, & 8. They are going to make the those 3 turns less sharp and much faster, as a result of a tremendous amount of negative feedback from Runoffs competitiors. Here's a link to a drawing: http://www.scca.com/_FileLibrary/Fil...pt-2.5_900.jpg Personally, I think it'll improve the track by adding some speed and excitement to an other wise slow, relatively dull track. However, I have no idea when the actually intend to make the changes.

Yep, those are the same changes I heard about, but there was no mention about them the last Wednesday event. I'll ask them this week and see what they say.

I'm actually the opposite. I like the sharper turns so I was quite pleased to see that changes hadn't been made last month. I had just assumed they didn't plan to make them, but maybe they plan to have it done later this year.

Thanks!! I was really hoping they would do it before the August SCCA National event so we could get to race on it prior to the Runoffs.

Luckily, he left out any photos of the Firebird after it went into a wall.

They aren't listing a second event in August on the website. I doubt there will be one.
