Heartland Park and DPE are sponsoring Wednesday Road Warriors. The second Wednesday of every month, track time starting at 5PM to sundown for $35.

All you need is a car that won't dump all it's fluids on the track and a SA95+ approved helmet. Hope to see you out there!

Rules:
This event is open to all street licensed drivers over 18 and all street licensed cars. It will be a controlled lapping event on the road course. All participants must have Snell M or S helmet 1990 or newer. No passengers are allowed, except for participants and instructors.

Was there a white Miata there with a full cage?

 

I don't think the Miata made it out there. There were quite a few cars that showed up after I was out instructing the Elise on the first lap, so that particular Miata may have made it and then left when the event had to stop (because of the weather).

As I understand it, last month there were several Miata's out there.

 

Next event, July 13th!

The track will be closed in August and most likely September so make sure to come out to this event for some cheap/fun track time!

 

If all goes well with the repaving, we'll only miss August and will run in September and October. September will be the Mazda event (run for $20 instead of $35), by the way. This latest schedule info is according to Heartland Park Topeka folks, and obviously subject to change depending on the repaving schedule.
