I only begrudgingly picked up a phone recently because I needed it and I loathe having to use it. Chances are I am asleep at work or in a dead zone when people could talk to me. I can be pmed through the forum or emailed. I can't guarantee I will check that very often either though. I am pretty much dead to the world due to work and personal preference and looking to pick up a second job as soon as the white rex is up and running. Good luck.

Thanks to you guys for the offers of help. I haven't checked the forums all day. Hell, I would have told you guys to come over for a beer and to hang out. I vote for a Halloween meet, that sounds like it would be a blast. Jesse

I just came across a 1987 TII w/ 79,000 miles on it. I got it with the upper intake manifold half taken off and found out that it looks like the PD caught on fire. Some of the harness is taosted but the motor spins freely. As well as the turbo. Everything is there, some in the hatch. The car was bought in 87 with 18 miles on it. One owner. I hooked a battery up to it and was able to get the electronics to work, wipers moved, headlights went up and down, warning cluster showed the hatch open and the e-brake on. I thought about bying the parts and fixing it myself but don't have the funds to fix and title another car. So I figured I would see if anyone else was interested in purchasing a somewhat project car locally. Below are some pictures.
The good: Immaculate interior, stock engine (not abused) straight body, no rust on moonroof, good winter tires(i may keep these for drifting)
The bad: PD failure, clearcoat is almost gone, small dent in drivers fender, small patch of rust on driver's side skirt, dent in hood, cracked hood scoop, spidered windshield.
Here are the pictures......

Looks like a hard 72k. Nice interior though. Hey, I have a question for you guys. I just got back from driving around and I am hearing and feeling a thud under the rear of the car. It did not do this with the old rear and it did not do this when this rear was in the other car. It only happens under hard acceleration and when I shift hard. When I installed the TII rear, I did not put the pinion mount(front diff mount, whatever it is called) counter weight back on. Could this be the culprit? I checked just about everything else before I put it all back together and it all seemed fine. If anyone has a theory, post it up, any help will be greatly appericiated. I did not make it to the strip because of a stupid birthday party that my wife deceided to tell me about last night. Oh well, it was way to freckin' hot out anyway. I will try to make it to the Friday fun night if I can figure out what the noise is in the rear. Jesse

My TII rear does the same thing. I think it's the front diff mount. Mine will do it when I accelerate and let off the gas, or when I just accelerate. I only noticed it after I made the solid rear diff mounts.
