TRying to time my 12a for boost after i locked dizzy car runs like ****. I have never played with a dizzy before and need expert help over here. Anyone in my neck of the woods??????? PM ME!!!!!!!
How did you lock the weights??
Did you line up the timing mark on the pulley and the timing pin on the front cover when you re-stabbed the distributor?
Do you have a timing light? (just being sure)
Do you have the vacuum diaphragms disconnected?
Do you have additional timing marks on the main pulley?

yes timining light but i cant get it to idle yet. it runs but like ***. re alighned everything. my ? is since its locked to i have to srop it in a diffrent tooth setting because its locked or not. which was is advanceing and which is retarding when you turn. i line it to tdc and point rotor at L1 and center it on the adjustment slot all i can do is get it to run half ***
Stock marks for now i got it running pretty good gonna go throw the t light on it. I need info on tuneing this thing in i have allready upped the secondaries to 200. This is on a nikki! afm is comeing monday i need to know what afr to shoot for!
