rotary shop, anyone in Chippewa, Eau Claire?
New to the forum. Been on here searching and learning alot for the past year or two.
Great tool for any rotary enthusiast.
I own a 91 N/A. Im looking to turbo and have just about everything laid out as far as that goes.
Ive been searching for a good, reputable shop to take it too when im finished to get it tuned but
the closest i could really find is either down by milwaukee or in illinois. Anything closer to the
chippewa falls, eau claire area?? also anybody else up in this area? just moved up here a couple of
months ago and dont really know anybody. Its finally gettin nice out and i wanna play

Green Bay is a little far for me, its on the opposite side of the state. I was thinkin maybe somewhere in minnesota?? Close to St Paul or something. That would be alot easier for me as far as travel goes. Anything around that area??

So are you turbo-ing your NA motor, or swapping in a turbo motor? What ecu you will be using would also be helpful information, as not every tuning shop works with every aftermarket ecu. If your plan is to use a stock TII motor, running on a stock ecu, then there won't really be anything you need to pay a shop to "tune" for you...

My original plan was to turbo my N/A, which i still plan to do later on down the road just to build
a high compression turbo engine. As far as what standalone to go with, Im not getting anything
until i know where i plan on getting it tuned, and know what they like to work with. Im just
looking for some shops closer by before i even start the build.
Im getting an s4 N/A engine from a buddy of mine that i plan to rebuild and turbo, that i will
need to take to get tuned. For now im throwin a TII in my s5 because this thing is kinda slow..lol

^dont bother with Triple R...
guy's an ***, and doesn't really know what he's talking about, heard from plenty of people (and first hand experience) that he's an idiot.
example, i had a friend go in to him to take a look at some rotor housings, randy (the guy at triple R) said they looked just fine, didn't even measure them at all... just looked at them...
my friend then brought them to me (not that i claim to be an expert) and i took one look at them and told him they were junk. had gouges all over, pitting toward the edges. they looked downright aweful... he had to get new ones..
i wouldn't ever even bother going to triple R after my experience, and all i was wondering was if they had any spare parts lying around i could buy... guy was a real *** about it, and pretty much said that my car is junk because its a 4 lug..
condecending and very rude.
