So is what we're paying for as far as the dyno runs is that including Chris' help? Or is that extra? If its included ill pay for 15 runs to get my injectors straightened out. Thats my main problem, I put some 1600cc injectors in and having gotten them tuned out, the map was set for 4 550s, now ive got 2 550s and 2 1600s. Im really shooting for about 12psi, as that is about as much as the fuel system will allow right now. As the car runs now whenever it gets into boost it dumps so much fuel in it stalls. Ive tried toning down myself with no success.

The price is for the dyno. Because of airfair costs, if you can benefit from chris's tuning than myself and chris would appreciate donations.

Ryan, Chris and myself will be at Light Speed before 10 on Sunday, so If you get lost call my cell. # 314-791-2969.

Directions to Light Speed

Take 170, exit east on Olive. The shop is about a mile down the road and on the right, hidden behind some shops. The turn is past a BMW shop but just before a car wash. If you see the McDonald's you've gone too far.

I assume the software we're supposed to download is logworks 1.11? I cant really find anything else on there.

PS: Chris if you wanted to look at the microtech software its available to download at http://www.microtechefi.com/html/LTsoftware.htm Cant do much with it unless its connected to the ecu though.

It's as much a club get-together as anything ... since we haven't done much this year, just show up even if your 7 isn't running and hang out. Oh, and park behind Lightspeed, not in front. The doors to the shop are out back, and so is most of the parking space ... and that's where we'll be BBQ'ing.

Prices, it's not 100% but I would say around $75/hour, $40 for a 1/2 hour. Just be reasonable if you're trying to figure what to give Chris for his help. I'm sure he'd be happy with another $50 for an hour of help, and that's a lot cheaper than you'd pay any other tuner for their time.

Normally don't visit the rx7 forums but I took some pics so I figured you might want to see them.

On the dyno

Construction of the bbq pit..As you can see Ryan got a ton of help.

I heard this ones a slow turd............j/k

I only posted the ones that came out. Plus I left pretty early so I am sure I didn't get everyone. The heat just sucked.

Katie

What were the HP numbers on the dyno? 450? Better yet, maybe a chart or video?

297HP after heat soak. So maybe >300HP on the open road.
I got to get my AC to work now with the PFC in this hot weather.

Ryan what did Heathers Fc do?

I need to do the same thing. I think the solution is to run a switch directly off the compressor.

I'm going to install a relay at the ECU location that when THe AC is on the relay will provide a ground for the PFC

Talking

First off, I have to thank Chris Greene and rx tuner for setting this up. Chris did an amazing job tuning. Not only did it put down some nice numbers, it drives perfect like it was never modified. Also, thanks to John at Light Speed for thanking care of us for the dyno day. Once we fixed all the stupid little crap I was able to control the boost and put down some numbers. These number are corrected and it was run in 4th gear. 8 lbs = 30, 10 lbs = 348, 12 lbs = 365, 14 lbs = 397, 15 lbs = 435 with 332 torque...... I wish I could have kept on going but my injecters stopped me. DAM I should have planned ahead. Ryan has the dyno runs, so he should be posting them soon.
