Dyno Day/ BBQ get together

I got Chris Greene from Wolf ems to come out and tune my car, we will be at the dyno Sun the 26th for 10-4. Ryan Scott will be hosting the BBQ while others are tunig. We are holding this so called club event at Light Speed in Saint Louis. If anybody has a Wolf, Chris is available to help. I will post directions soon.

If anybody wants to use the dyno, Light Speed is giving us a club special. It should be $30-$40 for 4-5 pulls.

That would be great if you could show up, I'm sure everybody would love to see your 7. They would love it more to see it run on the dyno.

If you have a Wolf Chris can help, If you don't he might be able to help. I'm sure Light speed will let you tune your car.

The location of Light Speed is HWY 170 and Olive. Take Olive east 1/2 mile and it is on the south side of road.

Eric, it's about time you got that vert running. So, your not taking the drag queen to the dyno! I guess your afraid my little t04r will make more horsepower than your mighty t51r . Anyway, it would be great to see the numbers your putting down.

I never said dyno queen, I said drag queen (1320). Hey, at this point I would be happy to be dyno queen. Eric, can you post something on STL's forum for the dyno, Because i dont know how many people will show up.

If you would that would be great, I have never really tuned anything with EFI. How many pulls do you think it will take to get all the power we can out of the S-AFC II?

I'd like to do some runs, hoping someone will check for boost leaks while under load.

Hey Books, Chris says he's bringing his leakdown tester with him ... you should be there. Everybody needs to come cheer Gary on, hoping for around 450 at the wheels.

Soo..... may I get a few runs with a non-RX7 car?

I want to get a baseline before I start any modding.

I have tuned a few Microtechs. But a long time ago and
have tried to forget the experience. The cars ran just fine
and never had a problem. I have the software. I don't know
if its a different version than yours. If you know where I could
download it I will take a look.

Portable wideband coming also

Hey guys, I am going to bring a bunch of testing gadgets.
We have some limited time so, this is what I propose---

We all show up at a decent time in the morning.
Gary and I will be there already and I will be treating this like
an episode of MASH. Worst cases first, after Gary of course!
After a bit of tuning on a dyno the car needs to cool a bit and
then right back at it.
While that is happening one of you will have already been driving
around with my data logger on his car. Wide band will be recording.
No need to pull stock O2, I have a tailpipe adapter. Stock O2 will
be unplugged to force car to run in open loop. This will give me the
raw data I need.
Everyone go to www.tuneyourengine.com or the Innovate Motorsports
site and download the software!! Put it in your laptop!!
This way while one guy is driving around recording, another is triming
his map whatever the system is.

If you don't have a system installed and are stock thats ok too!
download the software and come. I have some really cool old school
tricks up my sleeve to modify stock systems to run better and with
more boost, power, etc.
I started efi tuning back when it was cosidered a black art and most
of the other techs at shops I worked at thought that I must be
some sort of demon worshiper or something. They were all ripping
off the efi and putting on carbs.
I am going to be there until tuesday, so even that the dyno isn't
going to be used on Monday other things can still happen.

See you soon!
Chris
