Lightbulb Caravan to Banzai spring BBQ form Michigan

I tried this last year and it didn't work, but I will try again. If you are interested post up, than a place and time can be set up to meet. FB's, FC's, and FD's the more variety the better.

It would also be cool if all you michiganders could meet up in fort wayne with everyone else that is going. We should try to get a huge showing for this cookout.

That would be a great idea. You can set up the place for people to meet from your area. I will let you know if I can get Michigan people together and what time.

Glad to hear your going to not sell your FD, that is a sweet car.
As I find out who and where I can start fine tuning the meet times. I would like to get to the BBQ by 12-1pm so that would put use in Fort Wayne about one hour earlier. Not set in stone yet and am open to suggestions.

there is a sunoco station in ft. wayne that is right off 30. i would think that would be the best place to meet. if you want to meet up there just set a time and ill be there.

Do they sell 94 at sunoco? When I was at Banzai the other day, the sunoco by them had 93. I thought they used to have 94?

The sunoco station sounds good to me. I'll let you know the time as soon as I find out who is driving down with me.

I went down to see Elaine and Chris this week and to check out places to meet. There are no sunoco's off the 30 between I-69 and banzai. There is a BP just west of I-69, will that work? For people coming down from Michigan, I found two places. First is south of I-94 off of I-69 exit 36 Shell station or for people who need 94 octane there is exit 25 Sunoco. Let me know if any of this sound good.

So far here is what I have put together. People driving south from Michigan, I69 exit 25 there is a sunoco station at about 10:30am.
For people coming from Ohio and Fort Wayne area, BP station at the corner of I30 and butt rd. just west of I69 at about 12:00pm.
I will wait about 20 minutes at each stop. If you are going to meet let me know so I have a head count. If I don't hear from any one I will not stop and will drive straight through.
See you saturday, Joe
