Anyone near South Bend want to go karting this Saturday?

Hi gang-

A few of us are going to participate in this event.... thought I'd pass on the info.

I have done 3 or 4 of these and they are always fun.

Anyone interested in coming down or putting together a team? I think if you bring 5 more people together, I can get a discount for you.

oh yea.... turn it in to a meet if you want ... there is a hole-in-the-wall pub 2 miles from the track that serves good fried food.*

*I do not condone drinking and driving.... but a beer and some fish n chips after some hardcore racing is good fun.

you can email me too as a contact person... so let me know if anyone has questions. It will be chilly... but not cold enough to keep us from a good race!

Cool. The track is only an hour and a half from North side of chicago too... what kind of Chicago or Indy area clubs are around?

I see a CLUB vs. CLUB deathmatch for RX7 Club supremacy

The track is off of 31 S (take Highway 2 toward LaPorte). If you are on 31, it is roughly 15-20 minutes max from MI state line to the track.

If you are interested in going, let me know via email. 2 people can make up a team if they want. I did that last year and got a ton of seat time.

Directions:

From the NORTH:

Travel down US 31 bypass S to Highway 2 (towards LaPorte). Travel West 2-miles to Pear Road., which is one block past the stop light next to the Phillips 66 station. Travel 2-miles South (left on Pear) to Crumstown Hwy. Turn right onto Crumstown Hwy heading SW for approximately 4-miles. MRP of South Bend will be on the LEFT hand side and is located off of Kline Trail.

From the SOUTH:

Exit at Highway 23 headed toward North Liberty. From the stop light at the junction of Mayflower Road and State 23, travel 5.7 miles West to Crumstown Hwy. Turn right on Crumstown Hwy for 1-mile and make a right onto Kline trail (East side). MRP of South Bend will be on your immediate right.
