haha! yes he did... i bought it. i believe it has compression now or something... i did a poor mans compression test. seems to be giving enough pressure in the rear and front.
only problem is i bought a T2 and dont know if i'm going to swap the s5 motor into the s4 car i have. other than that, i also bought an RB flywheel w/counter weight. just needs to be installed.

Hey John (Datsun1200),
Do you still wants those parts and engines in my garage or should I turn them loose to the crowd here? I could get more selling that stuff piece by piece by and giving you a deal since you bought the other stuff.
Let me know, I am not going to hold for you forever.
Brian

Yeah me and the green rx7 both ran at rock falls that day. we got nasty times because we both couldnt get any traction. too much power not enough meat on the rears. I was running 18's with only 225 tires in the rear. I knew I should of waited for my slicks. But This coming year will be different. Got my hoosiers slicks now so Ill rip the track this time with a very good tune coming will keep you guys updated. t

Minnetonka. Not exactly what I would call close to Stillwater but same state...
I saw that Rotary rocket was wondering why there wasn't MN included in the GLakes Regional Club, as was I. So I think that we should start one, I mean we already have enough from MN alone but we could always incule Iowa, ND, SD, and WI. But this is just an Idea, i'd rather get input before making a tread about it.

AHA!!! It's Lakeville! It was buggin' me so friggin' bad.
Rocking Rotary, I feel ya on the whole laziness thing, it sucks but it's true. Maybe it'll better in the spring... I know about three people here in the suburbs area that have rx7s and I know that there has to be more. I think that we should try to start it up again. I will talk with my freind camilo about it and see if he knows anymore. My girlfreind might be getting one soon also.

actually you would have seen the previouse owner. last fall just before it snowed i bought it from the guy. he said it would turn over but not start. ive even used my s10 blazer to try and push start it and the fuse trick to unflood it or to even get it started. nothing worked. i towed it from farmington back over into elk river with a tow strap and the battery was dead on the fc. as i was almost to rogers on 94 my tire on my truck blew out. a half mile down the road on the other side was a squad car on the shoulder pulling a guy over. i had my buddy help on the tire change. did it like nasscar and got back out on the road. if you dont know towing a vehicle with no lights especially at night is not good. luckily i didnt get pulled over that night. the next day i tried jump starting it but it wouldnt fire. so i did the obviouse i pulled the battery and the starter to get them tested. came back as a bad battery. brought the new battery back and put it in and it started right up. a big cloud of black unburnt carbon came shooting out of the exhaust. at first when i was driving it around it felt like the power was leveling off around 3500 and 4k rpm and would pick up at higher revs. then at this power loss it progressivly got worse and started to spit and spudder at the same rpm. well... it got worse than that, it felt like it was running on a dead rotor. so i did what i could and got it parked. about two weeks of poking around not knowing a whole lot of the rotary engine i have came to an answer. the fuel injector resistors over time got all corroded and the resistor for the rear rotor primary injector burned open. i had my intake off looking at the injectors, main relay, maf, compresion, auxilary port valve system, coil packs, even the crank angle sensor. in the mean time ive been looking for ground wires and connections. i replaced some ground wires with wires about 4 times the origional size or you could say amp wires. i also replaced the ground wire on the battery. im buying the part tomorrow so hopfully when i get it in and get things put back together itll run the way its supose to. ive got a thread about this https://www.rx7club.com/new-member-rx-7-technical-256/need-help-86-rx7-815761/
and to say it sounds right now is loud because its single exhaust (dont ask i bought it like that) and where the y pipe is supose to bolt to the cat. it was poorly done and exhaust blows right between the two pieces.

May 7th wouldn't work cuz I am still 17 along with the 21st and the 4th cuz I am in school and my dad doesn't let me race or anything like that on a school night.
I just realized that it's for 2008, not sure for 2009. Hopefully the same, I'll look around.
No events scheduled for 2009 yet, here's the link.
