Well Friends it's time to go

My Turbo II which I loved dearly has turned into something I hate now.

Long story short
My rex has been at a shop now for 4 months
needing a new engine (a Hybrid S6/S4)
The Mech there has not even started porting the plates
even tho I advanced with cash to start 2 months ago

after that the moter needs closing
FMIC install
T4 downpipe
and oil cooler lines
and microtech install

at this pace it will be a year before I see it on the road
I'm moving soon to a neigborhood with rules
no working on cars on the driveway etc

So I told the mech to forget the whole thing
and just take the money that I advanced him to close a stock S4 engine drop it and(just the block) and I would tow it home

I will restore it back to stock and prep-her to sell
after almost 8 years of owning RX7's I have giving up

I will try to find a local buyer for the Microtech LTX8
and the rest is going on Ebay

Ebay ID: kabooski

T66 turbo
Turbonetics 42mm Racegate (wastegate NEW)
custom top feed FD fuel rails
complete 93 TT Intake manifold
S6 side plates (sold locally I believe)
FC fuel rail for 1600ccx550cc with SX FPR
1680cc Injectors (3months old)
Bosch 850cc's (work good)
Large NPR Intercooler
HKS Racing BOV (almost new)
Custom Tubuler T4 Turbomanifold (heavy steel)
S4 6port Rotor Housings
and tons of other RX7 related stuff I got in a storare

NOOOOO!!!!!
man, when I lived with my parents, there was a 13B being pulled just about every other weekend in the same type of neighborhood. Along with about 3 other RX&'s. Yeah the neighborhood guy complained, but once he witnessed me taking a **** right on his front doorstep he never said anything else. I highly recommend shitting on peoples doorsteps.

Don't give up. There are always ways around rules, other than shitting on doorsteps.

I was sooooo, close to giving up on my car. However now that it's all together, I regret even considering selling her.

Well after debating with myself back and fourth
Im going to give this one last shot!

But after I get the motor done I will never deal with that shop again for anything

I got 4 months till the new house is built
so I got a bit of time left to get the car done
I need the motor done no later then 1 1/2 weeks

Since I'm going to need to break in this motor
It has New bearings
Seals etc
I'm going to break the motor in with the stock ECU
and will hold off selling my stuff
except the S6 stuff for now

Then if everything goes right
I'm taking it to the guy who installs and tunes MicroTech
for the install of the FMIC etc

well see what happends
But Man I feel like Im a hostage to my car

Be patient dude!!!!

It took me six months to find my RX 2. I have had it another 10 months since. I Just finished my engine. Took almost a year.

I just ordered the Microtech on the group buy, and it will probably be another year before it is running.

Hang in there you'll get it going, and whatever you do, Please don't go to the (Honda) darkside

David

Good to hear you're gonna give it another shot. But if you do decide to sell, I'll tak the FD throttle body off your hands
