Very strange secondary injector problem. LT10S
A little back story.
LT10S + X4, Bosch Coils, RC 750cc primaries, Bosch 1680cc secondaries. both are low imp
First tuning session - everything worked great, secondary injectors were coming on. but found out i had a bad coil, and a fried X4 box because of the coil that went bad. went home, swapped both out for new. checked for spark. successful
Second tuning session - spark is good, but not fuel. the car falls on its face as soon as the secondary injectors are supposed to switch over at 6PSI. ohm'd the Bosch low-imp secondaries and one read open(no resistance) and the other read all over the place. purchased two BRAND NEW bosch low imp secondaries to replace. take the car for a spin, same problem. car falls right on its face at 6PSI when they are supposed to switch over
totally stumped at this. what are the chances that an injector would go bad during the 3 week period when i changed the coil pack and the X4? i checked the injector signal from the LT10 with a noid light and its getting a pulse to open. so we know the injectors are good, we know they are getting a signal. why is there no power when they are supposed to come on? for reference the %stage on the injector staging is set to 80%
any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
