Hi i am using the S5 engine,

does anyone know for the TPS sensor the S5 has two right?(6 wires) , how am i suppose to hook it up to the microtech , i mean which one should i be using? or do i splice the wire from microtech and connect both of them?

I'd have to look at my friend's wiring on his 1991 TII. He's using the full range TPS.

It's pointless. If you read the manual, you'd see that the TPS is only used to switch between idle and load.

I use the full range tps for two other applications beside the microtech. Im sure they have there reasons to. Its not as "pointless" as you think. Even if it is just for the microtech then some people like to have an accurate datalog.

ok so i just hook up the full range and ditch the one that disconnects halfway correct? great thanks.

btw the two tps i have , one is the full range while the other is not... the one that is not matches the color code on the MT wiring diagram but not the full range one....can i assume that both of it can be hooked up the same way?
