Rpm erratic at 3k only, ANY ideas??

I have been running a microtech LT-12s on a 20b w/ FD front cover trigger wheel, for a couple of months. Its all tuned works great, but once it is warmed up the rpm glitches from 2600rpms-3120rpms, and its driving me nuts!! I have re-located the trigger wire several times, and the last time I have it now going along the shock tower and over to the trigger wheel, COMPLETELY away from any noise at all. Changed the plug wires to NGK, other things as well. THe problem is still there, and microtech has no ideas. Maybe the connectors on the two triggers are not working good or have bad contact?? The two sensors are brand new ($$$ damn it hurts). So, hope someone knows........

check the connectors and make sure there is no oil etc on the contacts,

cars with NGK leads seem to be having these problems... i highly reccomend only using magnecore electrosports 80

Really? I had a different set of wires from MSD on there, the ones you assemble yourself, and had the same problem. Maybe I will try magnacore, just hate to throw money at it with dim hope of fixing it.

Im having noise issues too, and I found some oil on my contacts of my CAS. I cleaned it all up, but still get some interference. Im going to try the magnecor wires, as Dale reccommended them to me also, we'll see how it goes.

turn out i just have to move the (B+) alternator wire and shield it away from the CAS wire.
it was 2 to 3 inch next the the CAS wiring that's when i got a problem. now it's like 6 to 7 inch from the CAS wiring.
so far so good...

My alternator is on the side of the motor, further away than stock, but the Postive wire coming from it runs very close and on top of my bosch coils, could that be the problem? I had sheilded and grounded the Trigger wire to the firewall, didnt get better, so I then un-grounded it, which is where I am now. THe strange thing is when its raining outside the glitch is almost unoticable, and when its very cold outside. I will maybe mess with the coil wires/ alt. wires as that is the only thing I havent tried yet. Thanks for the help
