LT8s - lots of questions

I just bought a LT8s and don't have that much info about it so I'm going to be asking lots of questions...so please bear with me.

First off...will i be able to use 4 1600cc injectors and be able to "turn down" the primaries to be equivelent to 720cc injectors?

The Microtech that I bought is set up for big injectors and a T04E turbo....now can I install this on my N/A FC and tune it for the non-turbo? I want to get it installed and setup in my car this year so it's ready for the turbo motor next year.

Thanks for now
Joe

Well the reason I wanted to know if I could run 4 1600's is beacause I can get brand new 1600's one hell of alot cheaper than I can get 720's for.

Ok, cool. Now will I be able to set this up on my n/a FC right now?
Also, do I have to keep the stock ECU in it's place to run the windshield wipers? Or can the stock wiring harness and everything get pitched?

You will have to split open the former Harness to retrieve the Windsheild Wipers, Oil Pressure Guage wire and Alternator wires - fini!

Tuning the trasition between vacuum and boost will be difficult with the 1600's. MOre than likely it will also be dificult to start. Make sure you have somebody expeirenced with the microtech tune your car. I would also have them spend some time with the cold start correction factor, this way it will be much easier for it to start. Driving in vacuum, may not be all that fun with 1600's, espcially if the delay is not set-up correct. Best of Luck.

Yeah I most likely will not be going with 1600's for primaries now....720's will be most likely work best.

just about everything you have said there is incorrect!

driving in vacuum will be no problems at all, car will be no harder to start, cold start wont be a problem, transition between vacuum and boost will be no problem at all

werd!! i have 4 1600cc injectors and my car runs fine in vacuum,it starts very fast and the transition from vacuum to boost is smooth. You just have to know where to put and take fuel away.

I've have been recently told that if I went with 4 x 1600's, the primaries would spray very uneven if they were "tuned down". They are ment to flow alot of fuel, so when they are turned down the spray pattern turns into more of a dripping? Does that make sense to anyone? I mean if 4 1600's will work, then I guess I will buy 4 of them!

your fuel pressure shouldnt be lower than 45 at anytime. With that said, your injectors spray pattern wont change, its the ammount of time that the injector stays open.

Ok, that makes complete sense to me know.
Now can someone tell me if this LT8s I have, that is setup right now for a big turbo, can be reset and retuned for my N/A motor.

Ok, I thought someone told me once that it would have to be sent to Microtech and re-flashed or something stupid like that.....I try not to listen to people who have no experience with this stuff.
