Looki MT WideBand :)

I got the car running again after taking the turbo and manifold off for some ceramic coating

MY AFR's at WOT in most gears
was in the 11.9's

My IDLE AFR is 11.1-11.3

Pretty bad *** WideBand!

I take it those LEDs on the right signify rich, stoich and lean?

That seems VERY useful; something I wish my Tech Edge (1.5) had. I was planning on taking some markers and going over certain bars (it has a bar scale next to the #) so I wouldn't have to look directly at it while driving. Just like gauges with warnings LEDs to catch your eye, I'm glad someone put it on a wideband, it seems like a no-brainer.

Only thing is, I think it is priced out of the market.

nice eh? i got one of them as well! worth there weight in gold! how much boost are you on??

dont worry about mixtures at idle, you will never get a mazda to idle at 14:1!

Pirana,

the leds are for the selector switch ie petrol, alky, LPG

another thing,

only use the tail pipe with it, dont mount the sensor in the dump pipe! it will get too hot and not read accurate,

also you will only get good mixture readings in 3rd and 4th gear, other gears just rev to quick to get anything happening

is it suggested to put the sensor in the tail pipe for all WB02 or just for this particular one?

depends on the unit,

the AF-1 works better in the back, i have a bung welded to the pipe at the back of my car and it works fine,

the LM-1 also needs to be mounted there as well
