I got mine from AUS for about $750 with the handset, the MT-8, and an extra dongle. They're pretty cheap relatively and I don't see a used one giving you that much of a break. Good luck.

Unless you're really serious about going all out, settle for the LT-8. As 10secrx-7 told me when I was deciding, "the stock coils are good run 10 second runs". And let's not kid ourselves, most of us aren't concerned with going that fast.
For what it's worth, I love my Microtech and recommend you all go get one. I'll be buying a second for my dune buggy/TII project.

Thats true, the bosch coils make for a very clean install, they will supply more spark than the standard coils.
ill get some updated pics of my engine bay tonight while the painter is there working away on the body, and show you how i mounted mine.

You can get name brand (MSD, Bosch, Accel, etc) coils for $30-$37 a piece, so 4 x $35 = $140 for a 13B
$580 usd LTX-8 ems + $140 usd coils = $720 usd
Still a fabulous price!

just worked it out guys,
at full retail price of $1095 for ecu and $200 for coils a LTX8 would cost you $757.75us
at dysons prices , it would be 690.52us dollers plus about 20us for freight! so around $710inc freight and coils,
another option is to run a MSD dis4 and coils of your choice and then the ecu would cost you $579

Yes you can also use the hand controller to display information while you are driving. Don't quote me on this but I think it's rpm, boost, water temps, that kind of stuff.

I have a used one I will be selling in another week or two (after I pull it from the car).
550 plus 100 for the completed wiring harness. 650 plus shipping total.
Email me at Jrbjag@yahoo.com if you're interested in it.
By the way, as of January 20th, the exchange rate has moved significantly in favor of the AUS dollar. Until the stock market shows some sigificant gains, I don't anticipate the change reversing itself.
Best,
John
