Questions about custom fb 12a ms2 v3 install
I plan on installing a ms2 v3.0 on a lightly ported naturally aspirated 12a in an 84 with a few things different than usual that I have some questions about.
I want to run 2 round ls2 coils for the trailing and either my current wasted spark msd box/coil or 2 more ls coils on the leading ignition. Can I just follow the ignition circuit instructions in the rx7 install article or is something different required? Can you trigger two ls coils with one output?
Do I need the zeal engineering daughterboard? Going to run a 36-1 trigger wheel with a red cherry hall sensor so I don't need two vr conditioners. It says it the tach driver and OUT1 makes wiring a first gen easier, what's required to do so without it? And can I run the pwm IAC circuit on the ms2 mainboard or is the daughterboard required? The IAC motor is from a 96 ford 4.6 2v.
Running an intake for a holley carb with a large open plenum, I want to run 2 850cc injectors and a 65mm throttle body on a plate where the carb would mount with the injectors spraying down the primary intake runners. Is there any issue just running 2 injectors? I know the trailing ignition uses a timer used for sequential injection but is it possible to run it with just 2 injectors? Would it be worth it to move the injectors into a runner?
If/when I boost the car I plan on putting 2 more 550 or 850 injectors down the secondary runners, with the open plenum is there any need to use staged injection? Or could I run 1 bank of 2 injectors for each rotor and use sequential or bank injection if I used ? The issues I can think of are the timer issue and the lesser control at low pulsewidths. Would there even be any benefits to running sequential injection?
I know that if I ran 2 different injectors I couldn't wire them on the same bank.
Is it still possible to add 1 misc analog input and a switched input?

Do NOT run an open plenum. It will have much better drivability with four individual runners. I am running a 750 as a throttle body (4 42mm throttle bores) on a stockport 6 port 13B and I can't get the hot idle below 1100. With a plenum this will be even worse because each rotor will be able to pull from both sides of the carburetor (throttle body).
If you are blowing the fuel down the carb throats, ESPECIALLY do not run open plenum, unless you get your injector timing just right.
I am running two GSL-SE injectors. Used to run two 1000cc injectors. Worked just fine for over ten years.

Decided to move the injectors to the secondary runners spraying directly into the port on the iron, the only place they would fit in the primary runners would spray half the fuel on the runner wall. Right now aside from the edelbrock 500 on it being way to rich even with the leanest rods, fuel slosh issues, and the usual bog, it drives pretty good and can idle at 500rpm. In the future I plan to mess around with dividing the plenum and eventually make a new intake because bends in the current one suck.
Also going to run the 4 ls coils.
Thanks for the input.
