Checking / questions

Well i have rather a unique setup on my car right now. It's a 84 se with an s4 n/a motor ran by the se ecu. I have the dizzy stilll with a msd6a(that's going bye bye). I plan on using the CAS off the s4 motor and such. The motor runs very strong right now with the 2, 1st gen, 680cc injectors. i have the secondaries plugged. I plan on running the n/a block turboed. I decided that I should get the MS running the way I have it now and then add the turbo later. Less varibles to screw around with at one time.

The 680's are low imp injectors, it's my understanding that v3 will run these just fine. Will i need to turn off staged injection until i add 2 more injectors? I copied the settings out of the FAQ. Another question, does anyone have any sugestions on where to get a wideband? anyone they prefer? and lastly can someone point me in the direction to find out how to wire up the second gen coils and cas? I have a good understading about the CAS and how it interfaces with the MS. I need to know how to wire up the coils. sorry if it's a dumb question. thanks guys

the CAS wiring stuff can be found in the FAQ in this section of the forum.

If I were you, I'd turn on staging, but set it up so it never stages... then when you're ready, you can add the secondary injectors, wire them up, and tweak the staging point in the software, and you're all set, and you'll run primaries only until then. I would make sure that the secondaries are made by the same manufacturer as the primaries though, as you can't set the PWM characteristics separately with the staged injection code.

The v3 will run low-impedance injectors fine, but if you don't use a resistor pack, you'll have to tune the PWM characteristics as per the megasquirt website (www.megasquirt.info).
