puzzled on my spark
hey guys
having a few issues with my newest project.
ms1 v3.0 stock cas no missing.
fc coils
fuel and spark
81 fb3s
this ms setup came out of my fc running.
the car does run its the spark that has me stumped.
i got the spark outputs wired to the forums writup. the car is running fine at idle.
but what i discovered was i think i might of mixed something around. im using the fc coil packs on the fb and dont really have the stock electrical harness to go by.
what i found out at idle is that my timing is on point but its coming out on the wrong coil.
T1 off the coil lines up with the timing marks and its odd that the leading coil pack is only firing out on L2 .....
its just harder without the stock fc harness to go off the colors.
so in short.
fires on T2 which i think is correct.
fires on L2 but nothing out of L1.
fires on T1 and lines up with the timing mark.
swapped out leading and trailing coil packs cause i have extras and i still does he same thing .

Your L1 plug might be fouled. That can prevent the light from flashing. Try swapping the L1 and L2 plug wires. Since they fire wasted spark it really doesn't matter which is which. If the L1 coil on the L2 plug now fires, but the L2 coil on the L1 plug doesn't, it confirms that the L1 plug is bad. If vise versa, you might have a bad L1 spark output.
T1 close to your timing mark is correct. It should be offset from L1 by your trailing split.
