If spark settings are correct yeah ... they should kinda flicker dim when rpm are low.

ok well heres the deal.. i had 3 wires running from the 3 leds to the db37 pins 10, 11,12. i cut the wires from the led's to the pins and now it flash as it should. so i measured voltage from ground to pin 10,11,12 - nothing . so i measured between 5v and those pins and got 5 volts.. telling me that those pins are somehow connected to ground. is this correct.. and if so what pins should i connect my spark outputs to?

another question. does the megastim connect those 3 pins to ground?

Smile Electrical Drawings

Below is a link that will help you out. It will have drawings showing the wiring of the board and pins.

Good Day

^^ thats for a MSII im running a MSI v3. so heres my findings MS v3 has 4 spare output pins spr1 spr2 spr3 spr4; pins 3,4,5,6 respectively.

i am set up to run bac, vdi, aux ports, spark A,B, &C. so my 4 spares will be spr1-vdi, spr2-aux, spr3- launch control in, spr4- spare

my bac will be controlled by fidle - pin 30

so i was planning on using pins 10,11,12 for spark output but that seems not to work..

i looked up quasar's pictures of his board and it appears that he is taking the spark outputs to the iac outputs.

https://www.rx7club.com/megasquirt-forum-153/dual-vr-sensors-ms1-v3-build-pix-633573/

i think im just goin to do this. it should take care oc my problem.

Nope, that link is for the V3.0 board, which is used for both MSII and MSI. Scroll down to the schematics, and look for the one showing the DB37 connector. You can use those unassigned pins labelled 'Jmp' (9 in total) for whatever you choose. Just be sure you document the build well, and wire the harness to match.

Schematics for the stim are online there as well, or you could also just check with a meter to see which stim pins are grounded.
