Problems with MS2; losing sync?

Hi everyone and thank you very much for checking out this thread and helping. Im having a problem ever since I went from MS1 to MS2. At about 5500 rpms im losing sync on the higher resolution signal(s4 TII unmodded cas). It works fine all the way up to 5500 and starts acting up, I can watch the rpms glitch on the tach as well as on the tunerstudio. I installed new plugs and wires thinking it may just be misfiring, still the same. I also installed a timing light on leading and trailing wires and it would blink when the rpm glitch occured. I have re grounded the MS to a seperated ground and installed several ground straps to take out the noise, if that was the issue. Car is still acting up. All was good up until I changed from MS1 to MS2

Any help is greatly appreciated, Im all in. Im so frustrated to the point of getting a different ecu and having a tuner dial the car in. I have MS for several years.

Thank You,
Jose Nieves

So i was looking thru a recent datalog and notice loss sync 17 in a couple areas. one at about 2000rpms, and really bad at 5500rpms to the point of not being able to boost. Any ideas?

what spark plugs are you using? Stabbed CAS or utilising both wheels? As Ken said, msq may speak volumes...

I dont know how to post an msq, can someone tell me? Id be happy to do so. I am utilizing both wheels and the cas is stabbed. Im running ngk 7420-10&10.5 plugs. Prior to that i ran regular plus and it still did the same thing. This all started to happen after switchin to ms2 from ms1. It ran very well on ms1.

You can zip it and then attach it to a post.

I need to see that to see if you have everything configured correctly for the rx7's inputs.

Ok so after debating i finally installed my FFE crank trigger kit. Instsll was smooth and it started right up. I kept getting sync loss 2 codes. I tried adjusting my r52+r56 pots. Still did it. I run shielded cables and regrounded everything. Only way i got rid of it was by running the noise filter. Now under wot in boost its feels like it misses and revs past the miss no sync loss, funny thing, thats what it feels like. Ill post an msq and datatog.
