no leading ignition signal

Looking for some help,

I have the error* daughter board and a V2.2 board with MS1 chip.

I had leading ignition coils firing one day, but could not get the car to start. Double checked my CAS timing the following day, it was 180 out (rebuilt the motor and likely just put it in without setting it), reset this tryed to start the car and nothing.

Traced it back to being no leading ignition coils firing. Both my leading coil packs/ignitor have failed in some way and I have no signal from the ecu. confirmed this both while cranking the car (using an led and 1k resistor on the signal wire) and on the jim stim. Trailing ignition siganl still works when I put the ecu on the jimstim. The leading led stays solid?

I'm going to replace the leading coils, but now sure what to check for on the ecu. Can anyone offer some advice.

Thanks,
Andrew.

Did you do the 4.7k pullup on the LED closest to the serial port?

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I have the 4.7K pull-up.

Remembered since I posted this that I forgot to turn off the stim setting in megatune. Retryed the ecu in the car with a 1k resistor in series with an LED on the leading signal wire and the LED flashes when I crank. Wierd that I can't get the leading LED to flash on the Jimstim.

I also noticed on the jimstim that the INJ2 led flashes very faintly?

I'm picking up another set of leading coil packs this week and will try to start the car again on the weekend. Really weird that the coil packs failed. I had spark on thursday night, friday morning nothing.

I'll post again with my results this weekend.

Thanks,
Andrew.

Was the coil pack. Car fired up no problem.

Only Issue I have now is megasquirt isn't reading the output from my Innovate wideband properly.

Which output on the wideband are you connected to? Did you do the AFR calibration on the MS?

I believe its analog output 2 that I have to the Innovate gauge
and analog output 1 to megasquirt. Doing some reading output 1 is 0-2 volts.
Do I need to repogram that output in the LC-1 to 0-5V for megasquirt?

Whats the AFR calibration, not familar with that?

Andrew.
