new 2.1.0 and fan control

Does anyone have their fan circuit working for them with the new 2.1.0 firmware? I tried the FIidle pin but does not work when trying to set it up in megatune.

Try setting it all up right, saving the MSQ and then re-burning the complete tune. I'm using the 2.1.0 firmware that Ken emailed me, its not even shared yet but it works pretty fricken good for everything else.

Btw my fan is on IAC1A

IACxx were designed for IAC control as follows: (IAC1A, IAC1B) are one pair; (IAC2A , IAC2B) are the other pair. You can only use one from each pair for accessory control as the A/B pairs are hardwired to be in the opposite state from each other. If 1A is on, 1B is off. If 2A is on, 2B is off and vice versa.

My apologies, I wasn't very clear on that. IACxx refers to the connector pins that are sometimes jumped from PCB connections JS0 through JS3. If the connector pins are used for something else (your ignition drive I presume!) you won't use those pins (should be 25, 27, 29 & 31). The CPU/PCB still has JS0 through JS3 that could be routed to one of the SPR connector pins (or other means) to control a fan. It's a little confusing and slang terms get tossed around. See http://www.megamanual.com/ms2/pcb.htm for details.

I'm PRETTY sure you will have your jumpers for pullups on LED17 LED18 and LED19, which are NOT the IACxx pins.

I can tell you right now that my fan is working on IAC1A using the 2.1.0 beta firmware....

Its gotta be your setup, settings or wiring.

I have to turn on my tuning laptop later I will take a shot of the only settings you need. I will also try to find the circuit and the pins I use.
