ms1 v3: How far do basic directions take me?

i have a v3 board, ive only soldered the 2 ports and the retangular plastic peice thats in the middle to the board,
ive had this kit for months i bought it from DIY, and ive put off assembley for fear of ******* it up, i down loaded the 66 page manual and if i had conformation like "thats exactly how it goes tougether" i would not bother any of you guys.

iv read the FAQ, but it seem if what i need to know is in the pictures that are gone, now those circut diagrams are confuseing as ****.

im throwing myself at the boards mercy,

i have a JDM s5 TII im trying to power with this computer, and if any of you have pics of you board, thats all the direction i think ill need, someone whos done it correctly, whos i can more or less copy off of.

or at least clear directions, as if you where speaking to a child.

normally i wouldent be in a rush, but someone offered me a great ammount of money for my jdm TII ecu and i cant pass it up.

thanks-nate

Did you scroll down? The necessary mods have pictures if you scroll down a bit in the FAQ.

I can take a pic of one of my own boards if you want, but the only board I have around right now is an SMT 3.57 board that's been modded to run the rx7.

Yeah if it is your first time and you have the knowledge to use a solder sucker and demount componets if you have to I would follow the directions completely and then mod the board. That way you know you have the basics down and then worry about the mods. The only exception is if you are using the rx/tx usb adapter then I wouldn't solder in U6 ( I think that is it) that way you don't have to cut traces.
