Prime? What kind and how much do you use?

So i got 680cc primaries...
And when the car is cold it takes about 20 seconds of craning before it fires, but when it does fire it starts and idels pretty well... without giving it gas

When its warm it tries to fire right away but I sometimes have to floor it before it actualy starts running.

I think my prime might be a little jacked up.

Prime of 10 ms is what I've always used. In some cases I use a larger one.

If it's hard to start on crank but tries to start, you probably have too much fuel there, so I'd reduce the cranking pulse-width, and raise the cranking RPM slightly (maybe to 400).
