Lost communication
While I was attempting to burn to the ECU I suddenly was not able to communicate between the MS and PC. I`ve checked com ports all the setup for it but no dice. What the hell is going on? I can in no way communicate between the two?

I can not communicate with the MS to reflash it. It powers up in the car and powers up with the stim. I even have a second processor that I put in but I get no realtime data no matter which one I use. I get no response when testing communication thru Megatune.
This happened last night when I got back from a drive. The car was drivable. I just got the widebgand installed yesterday and when I got back from a buddys house I connected through the DB9 port started megatune and started the car. I was making some changes in the VE table and when I tried to burn those changes the car died, I received the message that voltage was to low to burn reliably and have not been able to get communication since. I have two PCs setup to work on this thing but can`t get either one to work. I was looking at voltage and had just over 14vdc when I tried to flash. I had gotten the low voltage message once before but it was ok then also.

Sorry I was able to reflash the firmware sucessfully however When I go to burn my .msq to the MS I get the message that
"page 1 could not connect to the controlled"
All the way through page 13.
Still no real time data shows up either.

yeah, this is all a problem with the ini file.
I recommend getting the latest firmware, reflashing, and making sure the latest .ini file is in the right place.
James fixed some ini file problems having to do with changes in how megatune handles un-writable pages. Your problem sounds like the symptoms that we sometimes saw with the older ini files.

i have the same problem sometimes. somtimes my laptop voltage is low, i'll get that problem. i also think it has to do with the db9 to usb connector. when iuse the standard db9 cable with the desk top i have no problems

Yeah, I was able to finally get the firmware flashed but still having trouble getting much farther. I do have one .msq saved to the desktop and when I open that one everything works like it should. So you are right that it is software related. I feel a little better knowing that. I`ll work on straightening it out this weekend.
I`m not using a Serial USB adapter on either PC but probably will be when I get the new laptop so that info is good to know as well.
