Im confused :D
Hiya chaps
its my first post in here so bear with me
i have sourced a Built Megasquirt - but its in a FORD ecu casing
so ..
1 - would the megaquirt work on a rotary ( i take it that its just the map that changes )
2 - how would i put this in a rotary - would i need to remove the PCB and put it into a RX7 ecu casing
i know its a vague post - but any answers would help

Have you read the FAQ at the top of this section?
That will tell you all the hardware modifications that you need to make, and goes over a lot of the software setup too.
If you have any questions after reading that, post here again and we'll answer them.

hummm i wonder why its in a FORD ECU box then ?
so all the boards are the same then - that makes life easier
from what i understood ( not a lot ) - it looked like they had wired it into the box - unless they have ?? - using the loom onto the back of the ECU pins - interesting thoery
im just wondering how much work it would be to convert back to a rotary
what im guessing
1 - get the board out
2 - stick it into a box
3 - do a lot of reading ( about the LED's for the coils etc.. )
4 - test on PC via software
5 - install on car
coool - sounds like a good plan

Unless it's free or near-to-it, leave it for another Ford owner. Go and buy yourself a V3.0 MS1 kit from one of the many vendors listed on msefi.com, and build it yourself. There's few that have regretted taking that approach.
