Full function engineering trigger kit

Just installed the kit and WOW very nice crystal clear tach signal. Car seem to idle much smoother now. My only concern is my factory tach is reading wrong. I must have messed up some setting somewhere or because of the one sensor vs 2. MS3 on full sequential I will post my msq from my laptop later. I highly recommend this kit. Arron was great to deal with also.

The stock tach on a 2nd gen runs off the trailing coil pack. So that being wrong means the trailing coil pack is not getting a proper signal.

If you're not running a 2nd gen, then I need more info.

This kit gets rid on the noisy vr sensor and give it more resolution.
I am running a 13b rew engine in a fc with fc coils. I used dyi autotune wright up for the coils wiring.
A green yellow IGT-L
B Brown yellow IGs-T
C Blue white IGT-T
This are the wires from ecu harness. Maybe that is wrong. I have not zero my timing yet with a light. I just started it up and had it at idle to check stuff. To much snow to pull it outside yet. It did idle nicely with sequential turned on.

Still having problem with the trailling plugs they seem to firing 3x or 2x as fast. I checked with timing light that the are firing correctly but just too fast. I think it might be a code issue because I am running the full function kit. old wheel was 12-1 with 2 trigger new one is single trigger 36-1 Not sure how to fix it. Might have to change to coil on plug and run rx8 mode. I don't really want to do that.

Also could someone check my idle setting I have no idea where to start. 13brew idle valve.

I have one question. I have tooth #1angle set to 90. That is what is recommended for fd by ffe. But since I am running in FC mode I should probably set it to 60. I am unsure what this number does so I would like to know before I try it out.

The tooth #1 angle won't change how often trailing fires. Running 36-1 should not do that either.

Post your msq and I'll try it on the bench when I get a chance.

I all ready have my msq posted in post #6 I also posted the way I wired the coil in post#4. Thanks for the help. The trailing coil are running hot so I must have messed something up. The car seems to idle smooth as it did before. Still rough on the rest of the map but I have not messed to much with it till I get this issue resolved.

If you're using 1.1, make sure you set the number of "cylinders" to 2, and use "rotary" as the stroke setting.

On an FC ignition, set up as wasted spark, FC. On an FD, set up as wasted spark, FD, on an rx8, set up as COP.
