FD cas
Hey.
I'm in the process of installing a ms2 v3.57. I have searched and searched but I can't seem to find a cold cut, straight forward answer. My question/issue is, how can I use the FD CAS but only use one vr sensor? What modifications to the CAS need to be done? How would I set this up in tunerstudio?
Thanks in advance.
Dylan

You need to cut out out one of the tabs in the triggerwheel, normally there are 12 evenly spaced openings. You need to cut one of the tabs out so you have 10 equally spaced openings and one large one. this is called a 12-1 missing tooth wheel.
This is a picture I made during the megasquirt install in my FD, the gold triggerwheel is the stock one, the black wheel is one I made myself. You can see that one of the openings is larger. Difference is that I made a 24-1 wheel instead of a 12-1, but that's just to make the ecu a little bit more accurate.
Note that the position where you remove the tab is important, this will determine where the ECU thinks your TDC is. I had the missing tab 90 degrees BTDC. Reading this should make it clear:

Wow, thanks John. You answered everything I need to know. Been watching your build thread for a few years now and all I can say is that I'm amazed.
