adding injectors

I would like to add two injectors. 3 on bank 1 and 3 on bank 2 I am too cheap to buy bigger injectors. I have a bucket full of 460cc and 550cc. Making a extra fuel rail won't be a problem. I just no sure how to set them up. I wanted to mount the in the tb elbow.

I'd wire two of them to channel 1, and 4 of them to channel 2.

So you have two of size a on channel 1, and then two of size b and two of size c on channel 2, and then treat the ones on channel 2 as two of size b+c.

it would seem to me you'd have too much fuel if your using staged injection while only using bank 1.

I was thinking the same thing with 2 and 4 setup. I would probably go back to dual table. It is harder to tune but for this setup might be easy.

I'd use 550's as primary. Should be a lot easier to get a good idle with smaller injectors.

The only thing with that is I want to put the extra injectors in before the TB. I should put the 720 there and 550 in the regular spots.

Mixing injector positions before and after TB may cause you grief due to differing air pressures the injectors are squirting in. Why not just get a pair of those Ford 1600's? They are very inexpensive, and will eliminate the need for extra fuel rail, plumbing connections, etc.

the 2+4 setup is the SAME as having 4 injectors total in a staged configuration with the secondaries being a lot bigger than the primaries. You just set up the injector staging with the right scale factor, and you're all set.

As renns said though it's a bad idea to put the injectors in front of the throttle body, and just buying some bigger secondaries that you could put in where the current secondaries are would work better.

If you have to run 6 injectors, I'd set one pair of the 550's as primary, and then set up the 720's and the other 550's as secondary... That's the same as a pair of 1270's on the secondaries... so just set up the scale factor to suit. Again, I would try to get them all in behind the throttle body, and as close to the stock locations as possible. You shouldn't NEED the dual table code at all.

In the event the extra injector project doesn't work out, take a look here:

Two 1680's for $105!

good find renns! That's a lot better than hacking together a manifold!
