much the same as the wire in versions i'd say just with pre-programmed and pre-assigned outputs and inputs. i used the rx7 basemap as a starting point for my FD and it made things a lot easier when it came round to starting it for the first time.

Thanks for replying.
On an other note what egt probes and thermocouple amp should I go for? Are the ones in the links compatible?

another enthusiastic vote for Exhaust Gas Technologies.
BTW, i did check w ViPEC and the V88 will read a FFS and properly interpolate between a gas and E85 map both for fuel and ignition. i don't know on the V44 or plug in.
Brad, i really like your grouping of the AFR and AFR Target together. it never occurred to me and it is an excellent idea.

Hi Howard my EGT were delivered to my door yesterday great service and customer relations they have!
As for the FFS that would be awesome if it worked on the plugin... Does anyone have a contact with someone from Link/Vipec that can confirm this?
Also most probably will have to go with the Link plugin as in my country we don't have a VIPEC dealer.

MaD,
To answer your question re: changing maps, yes you can you can use a wired in switch to change maps, you just need to wire the switch to a digital input and configure that digital input as a GP input, then set the activation for the map (boost, ign, fuel, etc) as that digital input (i believe, im going by memory as im on my mac and cant run pclink at the moment to check it). I think there is an additional input and/or ouput board available for the plugin ECUs from link too, dont quote me on this though.
