i have a 1974 mazda rx3 with a ported 13b 4 port, i had just got the new engine running and decided to go on a rod run (about 2am with open hedder) and i passed a cop. he started to follow and my friend that was with me thauht it would be a good idea to outrun him. I was winning untell i discovered i had no brakes.
not somthing i want to do again.
thank god the cop was cool and let me off.

Please you guys act like you are all angels and have never done anything stupid in your cars. Have you looked at this kids age born in 1985 damn I'm getting old. But anyways hey live and learn it will catch up to you. I've street raced, ran from cops and all sorts of other stupid things. Hell I drove an RX3 open headers to the track when the tongue broke off the trailer and nearly totalled my friends RX3 but we were determined to make it to the track, which was 30min away. Not the smartest thing to do but hell I still made it to the track and got to run the car. Probably wouldn't do that again if I had to do all over my ears were practically bleeding. But pretty dumb not to check that you had working brakes. Would have been even better if you did try to run and got caught there's no way you can hide a rotary that is open headers people will here you for miles.

 

I'd rather run cuz the last time i was arrested i was accused of racing, when i never did. That and the fact that my turboII is pushing 400 to the wheels....catch me. But on another note i agree with u guys, who the *** would risk driving an rx3 with no brakes, plus run from a cop? Thats y i dotn street race anymore.

as for the "one word... camaro z28" what is a z28 gonna do against an FC or FD with 400hp to the wheels, nothing, but still its a long shot to get away, the radio is much faster than any car
