I win some, I lose some. 600hp SC & 430hp S14 vs Me! VID!

I go out to the local spot and catch up with some friends, not expecting to race anyone (only 93 octane in the tank). So I run into some of my SC300 buddies and I get propositioned to race a turbo SC300 with a Supra 6sp tranny, etc... We work out the details of the race and we decide to head out. We get about 3 clean runs in, and only 1 actually looks good on camera. First two runs I pulled HARD on him, I'm talking 3+ cars. From what he tells me, he had the carpet rolled up under the accelerator, I think he turned up the boost after that Camera car is a bolt on Eclipse GS-T. The races caught on tape were on the way back to the meet. Both cars I raced were on race gas boosting over 20psi. I short shifted every time into 4th (about 7k) because my turbo would creep slighlty past 15psi and I didn't want to risk it since I was on pump gas. Enjoy!

the races that didn't make it to that vid because they were blurry, were from a 45mph roll or so. The race agains the SC on the vid was around 25-30mph. I kept it in 2nd gear, and was only seeing like 5psi when brake boostin. The SC guy told me he was seeing 20psi when he brake boosted. I'm coming back for them next weekend though!

Yeah, I should have had the camera in my car, specially since my 180lb brother was riding shot gun! I was also the only car with a passenger I might add

a bolt on Eclipse GS-T. He was actually getting on it for every race to get the best footage as possilbe, that explains the shaky camera.

Yeah, since I got my car retuned I don't shoot as many flames as I used to, I guess I had fuel still being dumped out on deceleration back then. Now I actually get a lil better gas mileage. lol

good videos, for the runs against the toyotas I was at the back of the pack so I could mess with the rsxs. I was lucky enough to get around most of the trafic on the way back and had a nice view (and smell) of you and the nissan on the way back to the corner, obviously I have no chance of keeping up but you didnt get away too fast (jk LOL) ill have to try to get up close again next time and get whatever video I can on the cam.

How do you figure? Were you in the car? From past races, people are telling me that my car should be putting down more then 400rwhp as it sits, since I've pulled on cars that have trapped 119mph. My tuner tunes for safety, so when we were on the dyno he didn't take it past 6400rpm, and that's where I got my peak hp of 374. My car on race gas and 18psi is a whole different car.

Hey Eric, yeah that's Dave from Titan. I have met you a few times. Actually most of the times we've chated have been over at the corner. I'm friends with Peter.

BTW, I heard you sold, or you're in the process of selling your Supra. How's that going? I see now you're lurking around here. What's going to be your next project?

Yes, I was in the car. Come on man. I'm just stating what I saw. It is hard to tell what speed you hit from the vid. But a sc with a swap and 600rwhp should behave like a mk4 and in the vid it just seemed slugish.
