91t2 vs s2000
it was a wed night we usually go out to this spot in Long island (NY) at this wendys and we chill . while we were out there i ran into some of my friends from my area , a nice lil team of honda's a built rsx type s an s2000 and a few bubbel back civics . either way i get a call theres a money run goin down in queens so we get on the highway to head back to queens and the s2000 pulls up and wants to run so im like what the hell i got a lil gas to burn so we go from a second gear roll punch it and he literally got left by like 3-4 cars so he comes back and is like he's not getin traction lets run it again so we do it again with the same result . he was so embarassed he went home and parked up his nice real over priced honda and got in his boy's rsx . my mod's are rebuilt t2 no porting . microtech lt8s garret t70 , walbro 255lph , aeromotive fpr . fmic , greddy type rs blow off and runin and a street tune .

Yah, really.
This one was a pricey build, but its also a show car with lots of overkill in certain areas...

This vid is of a turbo'd S2000 (that you can't hear due to a Peripheral Ported rotary )

Okay, you can take what I was originally saying out of context if you'd like, but I wasn't really referring to basic boltons. Granted, the S2000 in question DID have basic bolt ons, I was just stating that they do take well to REAL mods (forgot to elaborate, sorry). Last time I checked, nobody really brags too much about intakes or exhausts because they know that they aren't gaining a whole lot of power. But from a general standpoint, its obvious when you slap an S/C or turbo onto one of these that you're going to see over 350hp at the wheels. Thats a fact. And sure, it may cost $7,000 +, but it will result in a badass reliable (well, as reliable as an S2000 is) lightweight, well handling car. And yeah, dump 7k into a TII or FD- you'll have a badass 7. HOWEVER, dump $7,000 into an N/A FC and you won't really have a whole hell of alot to show for (engine swaps aside).

^Absolutely. I mean, Honda pulled a miracle out of their asses by making a 2.0L (F20) with 240hp N/A. And that engine is pretty strung out in a sense (has to rev to 9k to really show anything). Plus, I'm sure the F20/F22's are strong motors from the factory, so it wouldn't be very economical/cost efficient for an owner to tear it down and rebuild it as a badass N/A motor, so the obvious step to take in making a badass S2000 is FI.

unless he gets spray or fi i wouldn't wory. that car was made to auto-x and battle in the twisites not be fast hehe. i can walk them in my sr20 with the stock t25g at stock 7 psi and breather mods hehe. now in the twisties i would get left behind with the suspension i have.
