500whp Prelude Turbo vs 97 Supra TT
Well I am going to run my buddy’s T4 fully built 2000 honda prelude tonight:
He is fast, making 500whp+ on race gas, but we will be doing the race on 93 pump.
Supra Modifications:
HKS Titanium Exhaust
3.5inch Downpipe
MBC set at 17-18psi
I will have the video up later tonight or tomorrow for your viewing pleasure. Stay tuned my friends.

Here are some of the vids from the Turbo Prelude view, I will have more vids up tomorrow from my Supra view. Also a 150mph fly by I did and some other vids of the night.
Note: some of these runs were started in 3rd and some in 2nd gear, i cut off at around 145mph.

Preludes aren't light cars, they have 200-220hp depending on year and they barely break 14s, most are low 15s. The guy in the Prelude obviously can't drive, he missed a gear every race and thought he was in 3rd, but was actually in 5th.

Agree'ed on the prelude guy having no clue how to drive, but a prelude is still a ton lighter then a 3500+lb supra. I would have expected the honda to be way faster than that...but anywho nice supra, race that same guy in his Z06 so you can go tell everyone you beat a Z06 in a nearly stock supra.

18psi is what the prelude was on, that is max safe boost on pump gas. my friend told me that the prelude weights 3300lbs. it was making about 350whp.
i am on 18psi with exhaust, downpipe.
i should have shots from in my car and some other clips on the night up soon. thanks guys.

from looking at the vid that prelude can't have that much power. before he missed the gear he still got pulled. a car that much lighter with that power would have let all us know form the jump that it wasn't going to be a pushover and i didn't see that!

Ok, do you guys want my honest opinion on my buddy turbo prelude. From day one, 2 years ago when he began the turbo setup he has on it now (3 years ago he had a Greddy Turbo kit), I told him that his engine build up was fine and he chose good parts, but the damn turbo he picked was too DAMN LARGE!!! I mean it’s a straight T4/60-1!!!! It is HUGE!!, he had to custom fit the full race exhaust manifold to get it to fit. I tried to explain to him how a turbo flow chart works and what not, but he just wanted a gigantic turbo. I also recommended a SC61 at the time or a T3/67 (the GT35R was not out).
Im my opinion the turbo he has on there, the T4/60-1 is just way to big for his inline 4. it was not the right choice for his setup. But please don’t get me wrong, his motor is damn good, very well put together, just needs the right turbo.
