you might just want to contact kevin direct at sales@jklre.com (may take a day or two but he does respond now), cuz this thread is useless.

I haven't been following all of this too closely, but I gather from a quick perusing that I should inquire:

I was in on the damian-modified GTC race bumper GB, but didn't have the funds to get the splitter then. If I order one now, will I receive it in an at all timely fashion?

I don't mean to be offensive. I understand that businesses and individuals have hurdles, I just don't want to add to the backlog of crap for you guys to take care of.

Thank you kindly.

calculon, I'm starting to think nothing is ever going to happen here. There has not been a single post by the owners or anyone related for some time.

Before you waste your money on the splitter. Have you tried to bolt the GTC bumper on yet?

I was part of the group buy too and finally got around to fitting it on the car about a month ago. It will not line up on the driver side. I'm not talking slightly off, I'm talking ebay bodykit fitment. Like everyone else, no luck contacting Kevin for a month now to see if he will stand behind his product.

Very disappointing to say the least after all the expense and time we waited through the group buy process. I've been holding back the flaming to give them a chance to make it right but the fire is brewing.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll give it a test fit when I get a chance.

I assumed that with damian sporting it and backing it that it'd be good to go. Here's to assuming. . .

Hey,

Like you, I was also in the initial GB for the "Damian" GTC front and haven't test-fit it yet. Have you had a chance yet? I won't have a chance for several weeks due to my work and race-prep schedule. Interested in the fit before shelling out $ for the splitter.

Have you gotten any resolution on this yet? Interested in knowing if Kevin is standing behind his product.

Not a peep from Kevin. The silence is more agrivating than a negative reply.

Next post will show pics of fit. Defintely not what was shown during the Group Buy on Kevin's red car or Damian's car. The car pictures was never wrecked.

Check out the fit on Adam's (afgmoto1978) car. Pics on post no. 1025

Jack

Looks better in pics. Right side, fit to hood and headlights looks good. To make the left side fit right, the edge needs to be cut off then fiberglass added to fill in the gap - not cheap and unfortunately I don't do my own body work.

Wish Shine would have taken on this project.

Another dissatisfied FC owner seeking RE-A GT wing status, deposit paid ages ago an absolutely no word. How is this an acceptable business strategy?? I'd like my deposit back immediately.

So has anyone started a thread in the good, the bad, and the fugly to see if roller can help us out. He is the man when it comes to sticking up for forum members in these types of instances. Multiple months without a reply seems like cause for an escalation from any reasonable individual.

Shall we?

I see no other choice. Kevin was very responsive to me during the initial GB and I would like to purchase the splitter (if the bumber fit is fine). However I have serious misgivings and doubt about having to put a deposit down on anything from what I've been reading through these threads.

I paid for the splitter in November of '08 and didn't get it until spring. Supposedly took so long while he waited for enough orders to make it worth the trip to Greyhound for shipping. He's very prompt about taking money but after that!

With the cost of nose, splitter, 99 turn signals I'm out well over $1,200 and it would take several hundred dollars more to make the damn nose fit.

Wishing Shine would have made this instead or I could have settled for a Feed nose from him.

Sorry been away so long... For reasons I cant really discuss... I have tried to get things organized with Kevin and for one reason or another its just not working and coming together... I know Kevin is a busy guy and that is no excuse in my opinion he has a reponsibility to all of you as a vendor. I have no doubt in my mind that Kevin will follow through with his commitments to you guys but as far as a time schedual on that I have no clue... I wish I could help more with this situation but am no longer willing to have my name dragged through the mud without me being able to do something about it. Wish you guys all the best and maybe if things change I can help out, but with the lack of communication and not being able to have control over anything there is just nothing I can do at this time even if I wanted to...
