Courtesy given when it is due. Courtesy would be updating LAS93 on the status of his $300 deposit.....

The funny thing is Kevin is still very responsive to me through emails. I told him about the lack of comms on here.

He stated that he has been traveling out of country a lot and his internet is sporadic.

Shame cause they delievered a great product to me.

You catch more flies with honey than vinegar

I sympathize for those who are waiting, but I'd encourage you to cut this vendor some slack. I, too, had to wait many months for the GT wing group buy, but the vendor did eventually come through and delivered a terrific product. They promptly followed it up by very fast delivery of a follow-on diffuser order (delivery one week after order), because they did have the product in stock.

This is not NAPA or Kragen, these are a couple of folks doing highly custom carbon fibre products for which many racing teams pay a princely sum. If you want custom parts for a niche marque that is no longer produced, you've got to learn patience working with vendors. They are not going to be able to recoup costs by building vast production lines for items like this, or they would have to charge great gobs of money if they did, making this unaffordable.

I've been collecting and restoring cars for a while, so I'm used to this.

The vendor's products are used by TAPPED/GOTO Racing and have helped them win new class records for the RX7 in Time Trials at Thunderhill. That's a solid rep. They are subjected to supply line interruptions and a host of other things that Walmart wouldn't blink at, but when it's just a couple of guys.....

I urge patience and understanding, or take your business elsewhere if you cannot stand it. There really isn't a good alternative, and while berating Chris might make you feel better, it probably won't make him work harder or faster....in fact, I'd start giving you poor service myself.

Excusing **** poor customer service is why the aftermarket industry keeps it up, there is no excuse for not telling the customers what is going on. If the product is delayed, fine but tell me it is delayed dont take my money and disappear.

If you except mediocrity, you will receive mediocrity.

Kevin has stated in multiple emails to me that he has "contacted Las93" and that there is plenty of product complete and ready to ship...that means there is no supply line issue.

If you dont know the situation stay the **** out of the discussion.

the only message I recieved was over a month ago saying he is ready to ship never recieved any follow up for final price. not to mention I have talked to the other members who sent in their deposit for the GB and it is the same and only message we have recieved. not to mention I still send him constant emails almost daily but getting tired of this, its ridiculous. please let him know this. cuz hes not contacting me or the others.

and i'm behind you 100% LT1 there is NO excuse for this, at least tell your customers theres a delay not just disappear for over 2 months.if I knew this is how kevin runs his company I would have never come to him to start this GB. i've been out $300 for over 9months now with no product.

I pity the day LT1RX7 that your require compassion from someone who holds the same viewpoint as you do. In addition, the use of vulgar language does not make you more eloquent. I do hope you get the products you are seeking and find satisfaction in them.

I would never put people in the situation that Kevin has put people in.

Hold one for 2-3 weeks? Good luck getting an answer by then.
