Chris,

Any plans to respond to the many emails that I have sent you over the last several months. At one point, early on, you replied saying you would look into it and respond, haven't heard anything since.

do any of you want to get together and take legal action, I think a year is long enough. I personally have waited too long. I'm sick of waiting and no offense Chris if Kevin doesnt have the respect to even post a comment or show any concern you shouldnt be in the middle of this, it just makes you look bad aswell. I know your trying to help but you just get peoples hopes up by posting you spoke to him and then nothing...

... I actually think this is how I got my parts ... I believe the person that answered the phone is a relative of Kevin's (mom?). When Kevin realized I was reaching into his personal life (I had more info!) he woke up and agreed to let me pick up the parts in SF.

As far as legal action, sorry but I'm not interested and I don't think I have anything I can legally go after him on (don't have any real skin in the game at this point) ... all I am asking for is a receipt that shows what parts I purchased from JKL, needed for my insurance (> $1,000 purchase).

The thing that blows me away is if you meet Kevin, he seems like a really nice honest guy and he told me he is swamped with his real job. That being said, this has been a text book example of how not to run a business!

I am a bit annoyed that Chris is frequently on this forum yet posts nothing on this thread!? But I agree with a previous post, Chris should not be sucked into the middle of this quick sand.

Too busy (my ***) to answer unsatisfied customers such as myself or others who paid for items not recieved but looking at the feedback, he continues to sell stuff. I see 100% positive feedback, this should change. Note feedback as recent as Sept. 2, 2010. Oh how I wish I lived closer to his hometown.

I was surprised that no one has started a thread in the Bad & Fugly forum section. It's obvious this creep has no intentions of making things right so we need to do our best to make sure potential customers are warned.

I know I put myself in the middle of this in order to get some resolve, but I don't know what else to do. I have offered to Kevin to help in any way shape or form, even offering to take over his inventory/shipping/receiving... The last time I have heard from him was over 2 months ago when he was in town and said he would meet up with me so we could work something out in order to get his past mess cleaned up. I have forwarded him all the info I have received on this board and know he has confirmed having it. As mentioned from meeting him and dealing with him personally he really come across as a stand up guy. I have no idea what's going on with him but this is ridiculous. I am going to continue to try and contact him, but I understand you guys need to do what you need to do. And if you feel legal action in needed then by all means go about it. For whatever reason Kevin isn't taking this seriously and giving it the attention that it needs.

This is just going to **** you guys off more...and I'm sorry to report it but the Mods do need to be aware.

Cumulatively you guys are our thousands of dollars and JKL apparently can't be bothered to handle his business here. He has allegedly for all intents and purposes in my opinion stolen your money.

I personally know someone who bought a CF FD Front Bumper from him within the last few weeks. Funny that he is still willing to take money in but won't make things right with you guys. I believe the group of you should start a thread in the FUGLY section and link to this thread and get RXRoller2 involved as he seems to be the guy who busts crooks and frauds.

Good luck guys.

Did anyone pay with PayPal?

I filed a complaint on a part for my Prius last year that was DOA, and Paypal resolved it with a full refund to me. His Ebay business is qualified for buyer protection, so he'd at least have top respond (to Paypal, not Ebay), our jeoprodize his ability to collect payments on his (apparently still running) Ebay business.

Or, file a claim in small claims court wherever his business is/was legally based.

^^^

OOF. I'd take it legally then. I see at least a couple thousand dollars in deposits on that list. Grand theft or mail fraud ought to get his attention. Or just find somebody who speaks Japanese (or whatever) and call his mother.

NOBODY was more "busy with work" than I was a two years ago when we re-org'ed, and I had time to pay my bills. This is as simple as hitting "refund" in paypal, and would take no more than an hour (with an organized list) to set right with everyone.

ABSOLUTELY no excuse.

I have tried to get others to take legal action but no one seems to want to. I would love to bust this guy, sick of this whole mess. like you said no one can be that busy to take an hour or two to sort this out. but I certainly believe in what goes around come around.

I'm all ears, how do you propose proceding from here? My case is different than most here, my claim is misrepresentation of the fitment for the GTC nose.

^ I agree but I don't mind putting out some effort to stop this thief. Even if he said sure return the nose for a trade, I wouldn't trust him to live up to send another. Same situation I got stuck in with Pineapple in 2002/2003.

You guys really, REALLY should do this. It'd take anyone who has lost anything all of five minutes, and I bet more progress would be made in a few days than has this whole time.

Best of luck.
