Actually, sorry, my mistake in my previous post, we actually only got 2 deposits back then, now plus the deposit from racerxrx7, its 3 so far.

We will not make these in dry carbon since the price will be really high and we barely get enough interest for the wet carbon version so we doubt there will be sufficient amount of orders to even get the dry carbon started. Note: dry carbon production requires a whole different set of equipment, techniques, and materials, so it's technically a different project.

As far as a mount for FC, we would like to provide it if we could find an existent FC mount as a sample we can use. So if anyone who currently has a GT wing mount made to fit FC and you are willing to let us use it, please contact us. Thanks!

Just did my taxes and waiting for the money to be deposited. Once I get it, I'll send my deposit for a carbon wing.

 

I have some associates that may be able to help with an FC mount. I'm not making any promises, but I'll certainly keep you updated.

 

Have your "associates" kick in some cash for the GB so it can get going.

Yeah, we just got the wing from Chris last week so we will start the molding soon. If anyone is thinking about getting this wing at the GB price, you should contact us soon. Once the first batch is completed, we will raise the price back to retail.

 

I have to ask, structurally will these wings be comparable to the original? And dimensionally exactly the same? And can you move the supports to a spacing of 1210mm or 605 mm from center?

Sorry if you already answered this, how long does it take for production? There's a Buttonwillow race event coming up on April 18th, if I can get the wing a couple of days before that, I'm in.

Forget my previous comment, regardless if you can get this done by the 18th, I'm interested. Will 4 deposits do to start production? There's a few people who sent deposits last year (December I believe). If so, I'm in.

 

As far as construction of the wing, the design and dimension will be exactly the same as the original. The only difference will be that our version will be slightly heavier but much stronger since we will have reinforced core but the original does not have any core.

Currently, we will be starting the sample production soon. Since this is already an active project, we will be making this anyways regardless of how many current deposits we got. But only those who put in a deposit before we finish the first batch production will be getting the GB discount. Once our first batch production is completed, price will be raised to retail and GB will be closed.

Found a template for the FC mount. Well it is A FC mount....not THE FC mount. If you would like me to send it to you...I can.

 

The deposit was $300. At least that is what I paid. Check the 1st post for the correct amount.

 

I got my tax return back last weekend. I'll be sending in my deposit today after work.

 

I can make the FC mounts. I'm currently tweaking the design and then getting MY set completed. If you would prefer to make them from the template and sell them along with the wing, by all means....I can e-mail you the template(s). Or I can make them and ship them out for you. Let me know.

 

We are more than willing to make the FC mounts available to fellow FC owners and all we need is some sample mounts or templates to base the dimensions on. I'll e-mail the templates and designs tomorrow. I need to finish one of them.

 

If you are using the FD's existing mounting location, I beleive it changes my original design slightly, as the FC's rear changes a bit. What is the distance between the two mounting points on the wing? cm/mm/in doesn't really matter, I just need to recheck measurements.
