Just contact us at sales@jklre.com or pm us if anyone still wants to place an order. We are not collecting all detailed order info from every customer. If anyone still wants to get in on this GB, now is the time.

Another reminder, prices do not include shipping. Even I believe we mentioned it before as well as in all our GB, still got couple people asking but all prices listed do not include shipping unless marked with "shipped". Shipping quotes will be determined once the parts get here due to the variety in orders for this GB. We will quote everyone specifically in the future when the parts are ready to ship. Thanks!

Will be moving on to the hood prototype once we finish getting all the order details from the widebody customers and start the production.

For the gt wing, we are also interested in making it to complete our package so if we get 5 people dropping down a deposit, we will get it made.

anyway you could do the FreeStyle rear quarters? i like how they take go all the way up the rear quarter, flows much better in my opinion. i just wish they made the panel go all the way to the bottom like RE Amemiya's.

Chris, in between the front fenders and the frame of the car, do you have that netting stuff? Kevin, maybe I got the wrong fenders?

Not a big deal, we're just going to cut them off and sand them, but just seeing if that was the intentions for gaped fenders?

do u mean the grill on the gaps of the gapped fenders? Those were purposely placed there to cover the vents so that rocks or leaves don't get in there. We just put them there in case you wanted them and if you don't like them then just like you said, feel free to remove them.

Motek which part are you talking about? Can you post a picture? Are you talking aobut the part we talked aobut ealier in the thread being gapped? If so mine was filled in becasue we decided it would be best to fill it in and let the person determine whether or not they want the gap look or not...

Cool, yea that's what I'm talking about "the grill on the gaps of the gapped fenders" it's kind of hard to describe.

I just want to let everyone know JKL has great customer service & they are offering a great product, don't hesitate to buy from these guys.
A lot of time and effort was put into making this group buy happen, and I'm very satisfied with the product I received. Unfortunately, I don't have any pics to post up yet, but I'm working on it.

Sorry it took so long for me to get pictures. Let me know if there are any questions.

Kevin my carbon fiber fender add-ons will not work for me. The way it was molded seems that the edges aren't at a 90 degree angles, making it look extremely bad when mounted. I'm hoping that I can send the ones I have back to you, and maybe get some new ones made.

I think that if you made the top part of them another .5 - 1 inch higher than I can modify them myself to fit properly. I think over all that would work better for the final production...... because all these parts are going to fit differently on everyone's car. They aren't identical.

Also, if it's up to you buy I think you should make the molds thicker. Right now they can't be sanded down to get rid of bumps without going all the way though.

I think that the fenders would line up just fine without having to adjust the door and the hood except that the seam on the frame of the car (inside the engine bay) where the fender sits on top of makes it so you can put it down all the way. Maybe RE-Amemiya shaved this part off? I just refuse to cut anything off the car, so this will be adjusted.
VVVVV

Over all GREAT PRODUCT!

A lot of the problems I've encountered can easily be fixed by any knowledgeable autobody specialist. Kevin, please contact me about the CF fender add-ons.

Mike, thanks for the pictures and they are very helpful. We will first have the front fender height shortened slightly and make the material slightly thicker so that way they can be sanded down to meet better with the hood. Some of the RE-A original kits also have the problem with front fender being slightly too high near the front bumper and headlight cover area.

The rear quarter panel will have slightly more material added at where the shown gap is in case the future units have the same problem. If it is too much material, you can always sand it off, better than having a gap there.

Both problems do not seem to be present with the CF kit Chris installed on his car, so I think it is mostly just due to the differences between the cars and some minor differences during production since these parts are still all hand crafted. So we will try to add some extra material at the appropriate area to make it easier when minor corrections are needed.

We do not want to make every piece thicker since it will increase the weight and rigidity hence making the part less flexible and harder to fit. However, we will make the front fenders thicker to help eliminating the problem you reported.

For your CF add-on, that might be a slightly bent piece since again Chris did not report such problem during his installation, so please give us back the old units so we can look at the problem and we can give you a good set.

OK since i know JKL needs people to speak up for the GT amemiya wing, i guess im going to have to do it.

We need a minimum of 5 interested people (willing to make deposit) to start making the GT wing. IDK what deposit will be, i just want the wing BADLY so if there are any others interested add yourself to the list. most probably CF n FRP models will be available.
