CF material itself is pretty durable, it's the protective clear coat outside that's relatively brittle and tend to crack under sufficient impact. So if you are looking for the visual addition, you can use CF; but if you want something durable, you should go with our hybrid FRP material which is extremely flexible and durable.

We are willing to offer international shipping, just we have not gotten a reasonable deal with a shipping carrier yet. We are still trying to get a more acceptable rate for international customers so hopefully we will work out a deal soon.

Is this all one piece or is it sectioned into two pieces like the original '99 spec lip?

Sorry, we do not offer FEED style CF sideskirts since too many manufacturers have copied that product.

It is one piece since two piece might result in fitment issues which might also affect the overall strength of the piece. It is also hard to make a clean middle joint due to the brittle nature of the CF after the clear coating is applied. If we use a joint piece inside the lip then it might result in cracking the lip.

We are now trying to see how many people are interested before we start the official production.

Anywhere within continental US states, the shipping will be $40 for up to two lips.

We will start the official production as soon as enough people express their interest. The production process will take 4-6 weeks depending on the size of the order.

That's not a good idea, if the lip gets a crack in it at any point you'll have to replace the whole thing instead of just being able to replace one side, or you'll have to try stripping and reclearing which is difficult since you can easily damage the weave underneath. I don't see how having it separated in the middle like the real '99 lip would be any more brittle than any other part of it. Plus if you separate it, you'll be able to package it better and it will be able to fit into a regular size box, you won't have to use such a large bag if you're bagging it, even if you're not bagging just having a smaller part is always easier than a larger part. Just my opinion though.

If we have a two piece design, then we will have to cut a slit in the middle of the cross section where the two pieces meet and insert a joint piece, which will most likely to be metal, in order to ensure a good fitment at the joint. Without the metal joint, it is highly possible for one to experience a bad mismatching fitment since the position of the joint area will depend on the bolts. Over time, the metal joint piece will cause more internal stress to the CF and might cause cracks at the joint. Also, another problem two piece design causes is the inevitable mismatching joint and weave pattern near the joint. Since all of these CF products are hand crafted, it is inevitable to have imperfections near corner areas, such as the end where the middle joint is. The possibility of having mismatching weaves near the middle joint area is also big since each piece is not custom produced and matched to the other one.

If we make a one piece design, then all of these problem will be solved. BTW, we have custom made boxes to ship these lips so shipping will not be a problem. Thank you very much for your suggestion!

Here are some pics. The fitment was good. I put about 5 bolts on but did not tighten them. After the install, everything looks exactly like how my old stock 99 spec lip was when it was installed. Enjoy!
