IN Where to start?

Sweet now where to start. Long time rx-7 owner. FIRST time turbo owner. Bought my first rx when i was 16. It was a yellow 85 GS. Nothing special. I now own a 1988 GTU and recently bought a 1987 Turbo II. Im going to have a lot of questions about this new turbo engine and i think i came to the right place. My turbo II has 53,00 original miles, but its had some "work" done to it. I noticed all kinds of block off plates and am probably goin to need some help getting it running. I was told i had bad injectors and when i went to pick it up the UIM had been removed and a lot of hoses just left unhooked hanging everywhere. SO please bear with me guys as i delve into the new project.

not much going on right now just got my injectors......now to find a little time to get it running. and does anyone know if the EGR, BAC, or the ACV for my na gtu will fit the turbo II? Plus i might be in the market for some of the split air hoses etc. The car has a Banzai racing BOP kit so all this is missing off my engine. I really want to get it as close to stock as i can so when i mod it i will know exactly what has been done. *pics as soon as i get a chance to take some during the day*

The N/A parts are not the same as the TII. There should not be any issue getting the car to run without the ACV or EGR, the missing BAC will make getting the idle perfect a little more work

Nice welcome to the forum.. That's awesome that you found a tII with that low miles. Hopefully you get her running soon. I'm trying to bring my n/a fc vert back to stock as well for the same reasons. I would love to find a tII, but I will work with this one first since it is my first rotary.

Well I might have a problem. After I got my car started I let it idle and it ran out of gas. I went back later that night with a gas can to start it again. It wouldn't start. Im suspecting its flooded but I just got my injectors back from being serviced. I noticed there is some gas in the oil and I had a leak of this mixture coming from below the turbo. Im wondering if I have an exhaust or intake leak and the gas from the flooding is draining there. I was also wonder if it was possible for a bad o2 sensor causing my car to run too rich making it flood. Any thoughts? ?

God I hate all the welcome spam the post count limits create. Anyhow, I would suggest making a new thread about this in the technical section, few serious people are going to look at it here. The new member technical may work for you, or you may try to get you post count high enough to make a thread in you generation specific subsection.
