What is the favorite part of your Rx7?
Hi there I have owned an 85 Rx7 for about 14 years. I know a LOT of you guys will dog on me, but the rotary died and I've always been a Chevy guy so I did the unthinkable and dropped in a 350 sb Chevy. I liked the car a lot with the rotary, but didn't want to fix it when it died. I instead spent less (since I already had some parts laying around) and did the conversion my self with the help of my dad and some friends. We built all of our own mounts and stuff because I didn't hear of anyone else doing this until after I was done, but I probably would have still done it myself. I did't have a lot of money (poor college student) and I've always loved fabricating stuff.
I do think these cars are great and am really impressed with all of the info on this site as well as others. The coolest thing I like about the car itself is the wiring (not the rat's nest of unneeded wires under the hood but) it has been really easy to add stuff on to the car like the power hatch and power mirrors since my car is a standard model.
What is your favorite feature of your car? handling, power, ride, comfort, braking, ect..

The handling, the rotary engine, the s5 tail lights, the styling, and I'm not one to try to garner attention but boy my FC has gotten a lot of it. It seems a lot of people like the way it looks even 20 years later. I think it might have a little to do with not seeing many around anymore. Ill go for weeks not seeing another one(of any gen) on the road. So I'd have to say the unique factor is fun too. I have literally seen more Ferrari's on the street in the past couple months than Rx-7s.

I am a proud owner of a FD and in my opinon even stock these cars look sexy, have power and handle great. But overall i just love the way they look.the car has a timeless look to it.
Definitely agree! I like the way my vert looks compared to a fc3s. I just don't like the way the hatchback looks. Wish my vert was turbo though......
I personally really like the combo switches and the dash gauges. It seems like a lot of thought went into the interior design. Comfy seats, nice dashboard styling, and just overall presentation. Every component complements the asthetic appeal of the others. That's on top of the fact that mine's a vert. ('88). :-)
My favorite pat of my FC is the fact that it's mine. Most would probably consider it a generic 80's shitbox, and it's N/A with scrap suspension so it's not even very fast. But she's my baby and I've put more blood sweat and tears into her than would be considered sane.
