Soon to be an FD driver.
Hi guys, names Mike. I have an unconditional burning love for r32 skylines and rx7's. I drive (get ready) a 2000 Honda Accord (family owned off the lot) since the beginning of time and I'm just about ready to ditch the conservative act and get into something that will make life slightly less miserable
I was really close to driving off with a new FR-S, but I held back to really weigh out my options. Honestly...I just can't get over timeless Japanese classics like the rx-7. Jap motors are incredible machines, and I realize my buying process will be a patient one. However, I'm really set on finding the right FD for me. I just want to welcome myself to the forum and tell all you FD owners how envious I am of you!
Cheers.

I would definitely choose a FD over a FRS any day but you also have to weigh if this is going to be your only car, you may want to find something a wee bit more reliable. Of course factors you got to think of are how much are you going to drive it, what are you going to do with it and so fourth. If you are keeping your accord, definitely get this, if you are not, i would be very cautious proceeding this route especially finding a non molested FD is pretty damn difficult to do now and days and making sure that everything is installed properly or if it was returned to stock, hopefully they installed all the stock parts correctly.
In my personal experience, i waited to get a FD until i had something as a daily driver that wasn't the rx8. Haha.
Good luck and welcome!

Do not buy somebody elses problem. The toybaru isnt even in the same thought when it comes to comparing driving experiences. The FD is the most fun car I've ever owned or had the privilege to drive thats priced in the realm that normal people can afford.
