Rx7 FB 1983

Hi,

This is my first rotary vehicle. Its a Rx7 FB with the orig.rotary alloys. All standard since it was purchased in 1983 in Vienna/Austria. I bought it with appr. 80.000km = 49.709 miles and it was a barn find 2 years ago. And did only some maintenance. I replaced all liquids, brake and fuel pipes, cleaned the carburetor, replaced the sparks, replaced the ignition cables, exchanged the all filters and brake pads. Its running but after appr.an hour it starts to struggle and doesn't speed up anymore. It sounds like i have to rebuild the fuel-tank. Thats the only thing which i didn't touch. I might do this coming February 2018 when its getting a bit warmer.
Anyway .... here she is.

Like i said, the only problem is that after awhile it doesn't speed up anymore. Just like it doesn't get any fuel or being empty. But the thank is 3/4 full. I will now rebuild the fueltank. Looking forward to read from you people soon.

Best Regards from Austria/EU

nice barn find. that rear seat looks like it's been used quite a bit. don't see many rotor wheels around so that makes it and even better find. question tho, does it have a black roof? kinda looks that way in the pix. maybe it's just the lack of lighting.

as for any technical advice or questions u have can be asked in the tech section of this forum as this is an intro only section.
