Just saying HI

Just picked up a 91 NA Convertible w/auto and 110K on speedo. Found the site as I need to source parts as well as technical info as my main goal was to use this as a flip.
Story on car if interested...

Local small car lot had it hidden in the back due to issues they couldnt repair.. When they bought the car (Owner didnt want it but his employee bought it anyways) they had it on the front lines to try to move it.. One day a customer came in and wanted to drive it.. Low and behold it wouldnt start. The car lot had their guy look at it but couldnt figure it out, sent it down to a 3rd party high priced Benz repair shop and which point they couldnt figure it out either. They brought it back up and pushed it off to the side, in the grass under a tree with a tarp half over it.. In the process they damaged/dented the passenger fender.. Tarp was over it because they claimed (which they were wrong) the drivers side window regulator wasnt working. Then I come along....

Bought it and got it home (Blew main fuse in process but more on that later)... Found out that it had been flooded and some previous owner had installed a toggle switch on the relay under the dash.. Toggle switch was bad as well.. bypassed Toggle switch and went through Deflooding.. Replaced Main fuse and fired up but kinda rough.. Pulled and cleaned up plugs (Looked brand new when I pulled them) and added 93 octane gas to help freshen it up some.. Once running I found that they had messed up the idle and air mixtures.. Once corrected the car purrs like a kitten and nice and smooth..
While sitting the brake master cylinder went bad and had leaked all over the place.. Got that replaced and now it has brakes as well (still kinda soft as I still need to bleed out the fronts still).. Then on to repairing other items... One item that got screwed up due to me blowing main fuse was the switch for pop up headlights isnt working anymore.. Lights are in up position automatically although I have verified the motors and relays work fine by jumpering at the harness in the dash. Went about replacing any fuses that were blown as well as replacing all the interior panels they had pulled and left laying all over the place.
Once getting it running correctly and fixing brakes... TEST DRIVE... Thing runs great and shifts awesome...

There is a lot more to the whole story but that at least gets it started...
