Rob Robinette Says Hi
Just wanted to say hello. I've been tracking a Honda S2000 for the last four years and I finally encountered an RX-7 that was faster than me on track. It was at the NASA Mid-Atlantic season finale at Summit Point in November 2010. I'm sorry but I forgot the 3rd Gen RX-7 driver's name, but his car was very well prepped and he could drive the crap out of it. He was running in different time trial division so we weren't competing directly but his lap times were consistently quicker than mine.

It's good to see the RX-7 community is still going strong and continuing to improve the car. The 3rd Gen is such a timeless design, it's still sexy after all these years.

I'm glad the old website is still getting some use. I've been adding some S2000 content too.
Here's a quick HD video of my personal best lap around Summit Point Main:

That website is one of the reasons I was actually convinced to buy a FD. I had always thought the cars were beautiful, but all the info on your site made them seem more approachable somehow. 10 years later and I still use the site for reference. Many thanks for your efforts.
