Hello all!
Pardon, was kinda busy with life.
But yeah I found the convertible in this mazda dealership miles away from me. Apparently according to them these oldercouples bought it from that dealership when the car was brand new, in 1988 and resold the car back to them just one year ago, it was the wife's car, and was said to have been the "weekend car" garage kept and everything.
I just so happen to be the next individual to own it! The car appears to have been treated well, and was in great shape when I found it.

So far, my plans are to just keep this thing maintained and alive for...(hopefully) my entire lifetime....
Its my first car, and the one car that I want to learn how to maintain
Just last weekend, I have completed all of the routine maintenance that this car requires on a frequent basis, (oil/oil filter change, air filter change, brake/clutch flush, coolant flush, tire rotation) and am just beginning to learn how to do the bigger projects, like flushing the transmission and differential or changing the oilpan gasket. I (currently as of typing this) am working on a way to retrofit the A/C system to R134A
Im kinda crazy enough to attempt to make this my daily driver

Infact! Besides wanting to be in the club to be surrounded by individuals with the same interests, I really have to ask for some help
So far I tried to rely on the car manual, the RX7 repair manual from Haynes, youtube videos and ofcource answered questions from here, yet I still believe that the A/C retrofit is really going to challenge me.
I really want to ask questions about the A/C system, however, I want to post questions on the correct page but the site will not allow me to.
Might I ask why new individuals cant post on other posts except here?
